“[I have] over 26 years of experience in water resources engineering, including stormwater management design for subdivisions and site plans, road reconstruction projects, and hydrologic and hydraulic studies. VO is my first-choice software for SWM analysis and design. [It] is used for hydrologic analysis and sizing of SWM facilities such as storage ponds and infiltration storage systems. VO has an easy-to-use interface for constructing a SWM model, including flexibility in the selection of hydrograph types. The ‘drag and drop’ and element connectivity features allows for large and relatively complex models to be constructed easily including flow routing, minor/major flow splits, and LIDs. I would recommend using VO as an efficient and effective analysis and design tool for SWM applications.
